Lay Me On Your Heart

A friend from another state
wrote to me and shared
that God laid me on her heart.

How precious that is!
God, who in very nature
IS love....
picked one of His chosen vessels
to place me into a depth of caring
that birthed prayer.

What a sweet fragrance of love
to have God Himself share
His very nature through us
that helps glue us together
as His body.

"No one has seen God",
it says in the bible in
1 John 4:12

"No one has seen God
at any time.
If we love one another,
God abides in us,
and His love
has been perfected in us."

How sweet is His love.
How sweet to be laid
on the heart of another!

And funny twist to this,
the friend was awakened
by a skunk under her window.
It must have been urgent to God!

Next time, maybe God
will awaken her
with the aromatic smell
of coffee instead!
