You Know You Live Close To Your Neighbor When...

...you call her phone and hear it ringing from your upstairs window.

...she can look out her window and see if your light is on upstairs to see if you are still awake.

...you can hear the children being silly at their bedroom window where a fan is on and they press their faces up to the fan and giggle when their voices sound funny through it.

...you hear what you think is the bus and both you and your neighbor fly out the front door at the same time.

...cats start fighting loudly and everyone peers out their windows and go outside calling & looking to make sure it isn't the community kitty.

...when you need to borrow a pan and text your neighbor to ask, you can simply walk out your door and your neighbor meets you at the fence between our yards with your desired item.

...if you are out of milk or need sugar or an egg, your neighborly grocery store is steps away.  Groceries that come with a hug!
