A Traveling Oasis

I heard say
that a caravan of thirsty
and weary souls
who have traveled far
and long
to reach the desired goal
can find an oasis
where water abounds
to quench the thirst
and find sweet rest.

An oasis came to us
in the form of dear friends.
They shared stories
of their journey,
offered a recount of steps,
shared the pitfalls
and how to avoid them.

They listened and knew
the journey is hard
and God is so very good.
What an oasis
that came to us.
What a sweet gift
they are from God above.

Thank you for the encouragement,
love and support.
Thank you for the circle of prayer.
This journey is good!
