Let Nothing Come Between Us

"Let nothing come between us.."

I remember this beautiful and perfect 

fall day so well.

We toured the countryside by foot.

We enjoyed the landscape,

the tree's, the spots 

that were so special to you

that you pointed out.

We saw a big snapping turtle

and you saved it.

The day was so perfect

and it was a time where

nothing else came to mind

but enjoying the little surprises

along our journey, the blue sky

and warm breezes.

Afterward, we went to a little cafe.

It was a place I'd never been 

and you showed it to me.

We enjoyed a 1/2 sandwich & soup

outside on this beautiful fall day.

And we shared a pumpkin dessert.

I love sharing food with people.

Especially dessert.

And just doing this together 

brought me so much inspiration.

I had to take a picture 

and caption it with these words,

"Let nothing come between us

but dessert".

I don't know if that was prophetic.

Things unraveled that day

in ways that caused a domino effect.

And as I looked back 

in my photo book this morning,

I realized something.

And God spoke something 

in this moment because

He knew I'd happen upon this photo.

"I can heal everything that happened

from that moment until today".

And He wanted me to know 

that I could ask Him to do it

with anyone hurting from things

from that point until now.

The thing is, He was sharing 

that sweet revelation just BEFORE

I saw the picture.

And I knew I had to write.

I knew I had to write this 

and share it with you.

Because I know without a doubt,

you'll enjoy His sweet revelation

and be all over this in prayer.

And maybe, just maybe 

we should go back 

to that little cafe you took me to

and go share another dessert

next time I'm in town.

I think we'll find healing

and a sweet flow of communication.

I know God will be there

with a hand on each of us

and joy in His heart.

And who knows what will become.
