His Love Sets Us Free To See..

If we could watch our life
and observe it from opening credits
to final scene.
If we knew beforehand
its preset rating.
Would we laugh, would we cry?
Would we sit at the edge
of our seat
as the scenes whizz by?
Would we leave satisfied
by the impact it left upon our soul
or wonder why we wasted
money, time and effort to behold?
Did it reach out to us
to become better within
or was it just a vapor -
a thrill-ride, of fun and games?
If we were given a chance
to sit, and see our lives through God's eyes
with all His understanding
of all the how's and why's,
His plans and purpose for us
set in motion before any of us
were even a twinkle in
our mothers eyes.
Oh if only we knew the big picture
and the plan in motion.
Wouldn't everything on the screen
be changed before our very eyes?
He takes everything
and makes it beautiful
in His time.
If only we'd believe.
If only we accepted His beauty
and take Him in
as He has taken us in.
May we see our life
in the motion picture
of all He set in motion.
May we be free
to be like Him
and reflect His
most beautiful image.
His love sets us free
to see anew
in all things.
