Assurance is an Awesome Thing!

I love the words to the hymn,

"Blessed assurance Jesus is mine".

Assurance is a beautiful thing

because of the One who assures us.

It is to tell someone something 

positively or confidently 

to dispel any doubts they may have.

I love that Jesus assures us

at every moment with so many

great and precious promises

and His very near Presence.

And as His children,

we can assure one another

of the hope we have in Him

without a doubt.

He is faithful 

who made those promises.

Let's do it!

If there is another believer

in your life,

no matter what they've done

to you or anyone else,

you can fully assure

and remind them

of their high calling in Christ.

And don't be moved 

from that blessed assurance!

You are kings and priests!

And that is what kings and priests do!

When we pray,

"Your Kingdom come...",

speak Gods words of life

and act on them.

Bring those around you upward

toward their true identity 

and eternal abode.

We are only pilgrims and strangers

here on this earth.

"Blessed assurance, Jesus is mine!
