"Be Still And Know I Am God"
Some may say, "but what if we all were still and didn't do anything?"
My friend, do you really equate being still with inaction?
What if each person in your care was still before God and were learning to practice His Presence? What troubles would come, what terrible circumstances could happen where such a one wasn't left unmoveable and could access freely the resources available to them by their Mighty God?
Would not such a One as was still before his God not have His mighty wisdom guiding their every decision so as to order their steps from the moments eyes were open in the morn to the close of them at night? Would not your counseling rooms find the path to its doorways unused and you unneeded?
Oh friend, would to God that we would all expel and draw in each and every breath to being still and knowing our God! Would you not try it even now and test His perfect desire for you and would you not each time find Him exalted through every and any storm? Would not the light of His glory shine brightly and even more brightly in the darkness of anything you face as a lighthouse stands firm on the shore to guide ships away from destructive passageways. Your own soul beloved is most precious. Spend your gift of time to be still (in your inward being) and know me today says your God!
