Settle For Home

We are so quick to want to settle.

To settle in 

and make where we live, 

home.

Whether we live in the North

and the landscape beckons

to our heart 

of where our roots came from.

Or going down South to a new location.

We so long to feel at home.

But how sweet it is that God did make

a true home for all of His in heaven.

And no matter where I live,

have lived, or try and settle;

He made it all good 

because He is our home.

And wherever we are, 

our hearts can be at home in Him.

I thank Him for that 

as I leave the beautiful land

I know and love in Indiana

to a newly settled place in Florida.

Seeing the large photo's 

of the landscape's on the walls

here at the South Bend airport

reminded me of Gods sweet provision

for me when my heart aches a little.
