We've Been Flocked
Yesterday, our yard was covered with birds of many varieties. We literally had 18 birds. Four sandhill crane's, three Egyptian ducks, four black-bellied whistling ducks and seven brown speckled Ibis. It was quite a sight.
Today I thought about that and laughed. I've always loved the thought of being "flocked". A term us snow birds use for a prank where someone surprises a friend and covers their yard with plastic pink flamingoes. I had always thought how fun that would be to do to a few of my friends and family.
And yesterday, God flocked my yard with His own "unprank". A real, living flock of beautiful Florida birds unique to this area.
If anyone is interested in the plastic bird prank - here is a complete kit on Amazon including 24 plastic flamingoes and a sign "You've been Flocked."
