In The Quiet, Find Connection

Each of us needs
a beautiful perspective of
and personal intimacy with
our Creator.

We run too often
and too fast
for a here and there experience
and then the vast majority
of the in-between time
finds us lost and wandering.

Oh precious soul,
there is so much more
than the rushing and chasing,
the organized religion,
and the waiting
for someone to organize
more of the same.

There is quiet
and the secret place
of being together
with (towards) Him
all the time.

Life may be rushing
and heralding for us to join
the race to have
and to be someone;
but never God.

He is ever so present
that we can live in Him,
move in Him
and have our being
in, with and through Him.

It's in the quiet rest
that we hear.
It's in the quiet rest
where we find belonging.
It's in His quiet rest
where space is made
deep within
and He comes and fills us.
And that is something
we can have anytime
and anywhere.

He is Spirit.
A spiritual being.
And He is teaching us
in so many ways
toward a continual connection
with Him
in spirit and in truth.
He created us for this
