Quiet Trust Finds Contentment
Sometimes we struggle,
and the questions we have
are because we don't have
the definite, concrete answer.
And when I face
the unknown forward
in my quiet hours,
I'm reminded that the answer
has always been here with me.
It's in the quiet trust.
This moment is all I have now.
God is here.
This moment with Him
can be delightful.
I know this kind of thing
seems too short-term
in a world that craves
a long-term view.
But it's all I have.
And I wrestle with the wanting.
Surely contentment is great gain
and there is pleasure
in moment to moment godliness.
Treasure this moment with God
even when it's busy.
There is a quiet place
in the midst of the storm.
Look up and trust.
God has EVERYTHING
under control.
and the questions we have
are because we don't have
the definite, concrete answer.
And when I face
the unknown forward
in my quiet hours,
I'm reminded that the answer
