Sweet Relief

Sometimes you just need to be alone.

Sometimes you need to be with God

and tell Him the things on your heart

that He alone should know.

Sometimes 

you need to let the morning rays of sun

shine over you

and feel God's Presence

and cry things out.

Life isn't easy.

If anyone knows this,

more than anyone else,

it is our sweet and gracious God.

Let Him comfort you

with His tender love-filled promises.

He IS your Shepherd.

He will lead you beside still waters

and green pastures.

He does restore your soul.

He will lead you in paths of righteousness

for His name's sake.

Look at the tree's.

Remember that as you meditate

on His Word day and night,

you will be like a tree planted

by living streams of water.

You will produce fruit in season.

Even if your life looks fruitless

and you cry because there is nothing

that anyone could point out and say,

"Wow.  God is really using you."

Don't look at yourself dearly beloved.

God said Himself that when 

you meditate on Him, on His Word

day and night,

you will be like a fruit tree.

He will plant you in Himself -

the Living Water.

He Himself in you will produce fruit.

In season.

Don't be discouraged.

Keep your eyes fixed

on your Beloved.

You are His 

and He is yours.

You will be like Him.

Keep abiding.

Keep meditating.

And cry when you need to.

He will be there each and every time.
