God's Presence Tonight

It was different than most evenings

tonight, as we gathered in the 

livingroom to enjoy food and 

friendship.

I live in this home of mine

and I know how the atmosphere feels.

You get a sense for that.

Tonight, I could feel the tangible 

Presence of God.

I am sitting here now 

and I can still feel Him here.

Sometimes our flesh gets in the way.

Did I say sometimes?

And God truly knows what is needed

and is unhindered by baggage.

He knows our special 

(not Special K) guest,

He knows what she needs

and what we all need 

to make it in this life.

We need Him.

We need His tangible Presence.

We need His mercy and grace

and love and forgiveness

at all times.

If we need His,

isn't it a sure thing

that we need to do that

with each other?

Sure we mess up.

We are all a hot mess.

But with God's tender reminders

in our messy aftermaths,

we can move forward

together.

So why not start now?

Why not discontinue the 

Merry-go-round or the

messy-go-round

and do this thing God says to do

with each other.

I'm pretty sure we are mature enough.

I know with Gods amazing presence

we totally can. :)
