We met
and I helped you.

You see a lot in me.
You like what you see.
But I see you feeling

Too fearful to call.

Hating to ask
for even what simply need.

It isn't unnoticed dear friend.

So careful to,
move toward gently.
Reassuring you with time spent
and little visits.
A gift or two as need arise
and an offer to help.

Imploring eyes.
I see them.
I can tell life has you spent.
One more thing
and you may not make it.

Hang in there.

Don't give up.
May the sweet and simple love,
the uncomplicated love of Christ
pour out through me
as we progress in our friendship.

Hold on.
Prayers are going up for you.
Wisdom needed.
It's going to be OK.

We are going to find courage together.
God will show us how to do it.
