A Set Of Fresh Eyes

Every time someone is coming over to be with me,
I get a set of "fresh eyes" so to speak.
I see the extra grime,
the things out of array,
that thing I need to take down to the basement,
and the things I've been procrastinating about somehow get top priority.
My home becomes brighter
and cleaner in the process.
Interesting what fresh eyes can do for you.

when Jesus comes in
to our heart, our lives, our homes.
Everything changes.

So thankful for the living God.
When He is here with me,
when He is here with you
(and He literally is),
He will help you see everything
with fresh eyes.
Your situation, your issues,
the people around you,
your perspective isn't the same
when you let Him come
and yield to His heart,
say yes to Him
and welcome Him
to be with you.
