You Can Only Love With As Much Love As You Are Loved

When you are loved, it shows. Someone who is loved is generous and kind. They lavish grace and tenderness, because they experience it regularly. When you are deeply loved and poured into, you can overflow the beauty of the substance of that love outward. But if you aren’t in the position to have the beauty of real love poured into you, then there isn’t much to give. You have to go out and take it from others in grasping and selfish ways. In the book of Jude, these impactful words have so much depth and meaning, “keep yourselves in the love of God..” It’s amazing how transformed you are when you do.
