God Delighted The Day We Met

There was delight in the Kingdom,

as all tilted forward in their seats.

God was up to something

and had planned out the details,

piece by piece.

The moment eyes laid,

and first conversation held,

first heard need

and first offer left lips.

Oh He knew.

He sets the lonely in families.

He sparks the beginning

of a lifetime journey.

Squeals of delight.

God's ways past finding out.

Squeals of delight,

for friendship made to last forever.

Oh heart,

you are a curious thing.

If it wasn't for the light of God

you'd follow after your

own way.

But delight of delight,

when He opens the heart to receive.

He opens it to receive

His liquid love

for the purpose of lavishly giving

it all away.

You are loved.

Know and believe.
