God Will Rest In His Love

Oh sweet love
that causes sweet rest.
All the efforts of work
can unfailingly trust
in Mighty hands.

For when one continues to work,
the effort and strain
takes away from the momentum
its original beauty contained.

God rests in His love.
His efforts are fully available
for the utmost value.

God rests in His love.
He is mighty to save.
He upholds everything
by His powerful Word.

God rests in His love.
He has placed you
right in His middle.
Everything held together by Him.
So of course He is close.
Because He placed you in Himself.

God rests in His love.
His rejoices over you with joy.
You are His.
He is yours.
You are close.
He loves it to be so.
This was His plan all along.

God rests in His love.
He joys over you with singing.
No wonder we can't help it.
Like the little birdies,
we mimic and convey
the song of God
He placed in our hearts.

God rests.
He rests in His love.
And so can you.
